    The purpose of this retreat is to provide participants with education, peer support, and wellness-oriented activities aimed at fostering personal growth and awareness related to managing symptoms of OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) and anxiety. This retreat is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or medical care. Participation does not constitute a therapeutic relationship or medical consultation.

    By signing the waiver, you acknowledge that the retreat organizers, facilitators, and any affiliated personnel are not licensed mental health or medical professionals (unless explicitly stated) and are not providing clinical diagnosis, therapy, or medical advice during the retreat.

  • Assumption of Risk

    I understand and acknowledge that participation in the retreat involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Emotional distress or triggers due to sensitive topics discussed.

    • Physical injury resulting from optional physical activities such as yoga, meditation, or movement exercises.

    • Personal discomfort related to group discussions or social interactions.

    I assume full responsibility for any physical, emotional, or mental outcomes arising from my participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my own well-being and make decisions that align with my current needs and capacity.

  • Release of Liability

    In consideration of being allowed to participate in this retreat, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby release, waive, and discharge the retreat organizers, facilitators, volunteers, and venue staff from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in the retreat.

  • Not Medical or Therapuetic Care

    This retreat is not designed or intended to replace therapy, medical treatment, or other professional services for OCD, anxiety, or any other mental health conditions. Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional care independently as needed.

  • Confidentiality

    While all participants are encouraged to maintain confidentiality of personal information shared during the retreat, I understand that the organizers cannot guarantee confidentiality due to the group setting.

  • Emergency Situations

    I understand that the retreat facilitators are not equipped to handle mental health crises or emergencies. If I am in need of immediate assistance, I will contact appropriate crisis services or medical professionals.
